Why Police Mutual?

Annual General Meeting

Police Mutual's constitution states that "At every meeting of the Society voting shall be by delegates duly appointed".

Each Police force or approved Police organisation nominates one delegate - usually their Force Authorised Officer (FAO) - to represent and express the views of their members at all meetings of the Society, including the Annual General Meeting, and to vote on their behalf.

If the FAO is unable to attend a meeting, they may nominate an Authorised Officer from their force or organisation as their deputy delegate.

The delegate or deputy delegate must be a member of the Society.

At the Annual General Meeting delegates receive the Annual Report and Accounts and vote on the election of individuals to the Committee of Management.
