Business Analyst

Lichfield, Staffordshire
Interim (12 month contract)
Salary:  circa £40,000 per annum + benefits dependant on skills and experience

Police Mutual continues to operate in a rapidly changing environment, and we’re making changes in 2010 to continue to look after the financial interests of Police Officers, Police Staff and their families.

Defining the business needs in a way that clarifies potential costs and benefits is vital to ensure that we focus on the right areas in the future.  We are now seeking an experienced Business Analyst, with strong data analysis skills and a proven ability to define business needs and identify creative solutions - and someone who will be able to help us develop these skills within the wider business.

In this new role, you will be working with the newly established Transformation team reporting to the Head of Transformation. You will be responsible for investigative work to determine business requirements and determining solutions to business problems, through improvements in information systems, processes, information management, and organisation change.

Successful candidates will also have:

  •  Prior experience of working within the financial services environment and an understanding of industry standards and governance would be beneficial
  •  Strong analytical skills and an ability to distil key messages from complex data
  •  The ability to work in a structured way, utilising a sound knowledge of best practice, including modelling and analysis tools
  •  The ability to influence business stakeholders effectively
  •  Strong commercial and business awareness

Further details can be found in the job description.
